A socio-political pressure group – Abia Rainbow Coalition – has condemned in the strongest term the non-zoning of Abia governorship slot by some political parties to Abia North.
The group’s Director of Mobilization, Prof. O. Ndukwe, in a statement after an enlarged meeting of their executives, maintained that nothing will stop them from making sure that Abia North produces the next governor of Abia State.
They extolled the consistent stand of the great sons of Abia State including Senator Adolph Wabara, Senator Theodore Ahamefula Orji, Dr. Eme Okoro and Chief Charles Ogbonna and vowed to making it a reality.
Prof. Ndukwe also said the Abia Rainbow Coalition will on February 21, 2023 unveil the names of their adopted candidates from different political parties who are contesting for House of Representatives and senatorial seats.
Thereafter, those for House of Assembly and the man who will be the governor of Abia State.
