The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has dissolved the executive management team of Nigerian Security, Printing and Minting Plc with immediate effect.
A notice of the dissolution was contained in an in-house memo signed by General Manager, Corporate Service, Soji Ogungbesan, stating that the executive team has been dissolved and new one appointed.
The new team consists of Abubakar Minjibir as Managing Director; Muhammad Mustapha as GM Finance and Strategy and Mr. Adesoji.
However, the staff were assured of the commitment to their welfare.
The Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Plc is a security printing organization established in 1963 by the Federal government of Nigeria in partnership with De-La-Rue of the U.K
The company is wholly managed and operated by Nigerians.
It is the sole producer of the Nigerian bank notes and coins.
