The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced the postponement of its November 2018 Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting earlier scheduled to hold on November 19 and 20, 2018.
The meeting, the CBN said, will now hold on Wednesday and Thursday, 21st and 22nd November, 2018.
A statement by the Director, Corporate Communications of the CBN, Mr. Isaac Okorafor, said the postponement is due to the public holiday which the Federal government has declared on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
The statement added that the CBN regrets any inconvenience the change may cause its stakeholders and the general public.
