President Muhammadu Buhari says he shares in the grief of loss with formerSenate President Ken Nnamani and his family, trusting the Almighty God to grant the family strength over the passing of Mrs. Jane Nnamani.
The president conveyed his feelings through a condolence message by his spokesman, Mr. Femi Adesina, on Tuesday in Abuja.
Buhari believes the good works of the late wife of Senator Nnamani would always be remembered by her friends and associates, particularly the Amechi Awkunanaw community, where she had been a source of hope and succour for many.
He urged the Nnamani family to look “unto the Lord at this very difficult moment of pain and deep reflection, knowing that help comes only from Him.”
The president prayed for God’s comforting arms over the family and a peaceful rest for the departed.
In his own dirge,President of the Senate, Dr Ahmad Lawan, has described the death of Mrs. Jane Nnamani, wife of a former Senate President Ken Nnamani, as devastating and a great loss to the family.
Lawan commiserated with Nnamani through a condolence message issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Ola Awoniyi, on Monday in Abuja.
He prayed to God to comfort the former senate president and the family over the irreparable loss, and urged them to be consoled by her enduring legacy of good deeds.
Lawan also commiserated with the government and people of Enugu State over the loss, and prayed for the soul of the deceased to have eternal rest.
