The Federal government has officially conveyed approval authorizing Lagos State government to construct its proposed Lekki International Airport.
The letter conveying the approval was delivered to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika Sirika during the 9th Ehingbeti Lagos Economic Summit at the Eko Hotel and Suites on Victoria Island.
Sirika noted that Lagos has the resources and exigencies for an additional airport,” which will help to decongest the Murtala International Airport.”
