The Bayelsa State governor, Sen. Douye Diri, has appointed Mr. Daniel Alabrah his Chief Press Secretary (CPS).
Until his appointment, Alabrah was the Special Adviser on Public Affairs to the immediate past governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson.
Alabrah, in his several years of journalism practice, has worked in a number of media organizations and held top editorial positions.
He was News Editor at Independent Newspaper, Deputy Editor of The Sun Newspaper and later Head of Media and Communication of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
He brings to bear on his new office, a robust experience of information management.
His appointment takes immediate effect.
