Suspected bandits have reportedly attacked Zurin Mahauta village in Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State, hometown of deputy governor Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, and abducted about seven residents.

Reports said that armed men were said to have stormed the community under the cover of darkness, unleashing terror on unsuspecting residents before escaping with their victims.
