APGA chieftain, Udensi, promises Abia pensioners financial succor

As the Yuletide period approaches, a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Interpol consultant, Sir Chikwe Udensi, has promised to alleviate the pains of pensioners in Abia State.

The chieftain, during an interactive radio programme – Open Parliament – on Family Love FM, Umuahia, on Wednesday, assured one of the callers that he will carry out a financial outreach to pensioners in the State, conscious of the challenges they face as a result of non-payment of their stipends by the government.

A caller, Chief Chinedu Obilor Iyierioba, popularly known as the Fayose of Ohuhu land, had narrated the plight of Abia pensioners to the chieftain, pleading with him to intervene in their matter.

Udensi promised to make the pensioners smile as the festive period approaches.

He also authorized Iyierioba to compute the data of all the pensioners in Abia State, to enable him to support them financially.
