Another Chibok schoolgirl, now mother of two, escapes from Boko Haram abductors

Another Chibok schoolgirl has escaped from Boko Haram terrorists after being held in captivity for more than seven years.

The schoolgirl – Hassana Adamu – returned with two children she had while being held hostage in the terrorists’ camp.

Alongside her two children, Hassana was handed over to Borno State governor, Babagana Zulum by the Commander, 26 Taskforce Brigade, Brigadier General DR Dantani. It was learnt that she had earlier presented herself to the Nigerian Army after leaving a Boko Haram camp.

Hassana was one of over 200 schoolgirls abducted at a Government Secondary School in Chibok on April 14, 2014, by Boko Haram insurgents.

Last week, another Chibok girl, Ruth Ngladar Pogu and a man said to be her husband, had presented themselves to the Nigerian Army on July 28, 2021, at a location in Bama.
