Amosun condoles with Punch, media, others over late Aboderin

Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has expressed sadness over the death of the Chairman, Punch Nigeria Limited, Mr. Gbadabowale Aboderin.
In his condolence message, signed by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Otunba Adedayo Adeneye, Amosun commiserated with the management of Punch Nigeria Limited, the media, sport and aviation industries.
Describing the deceased as a versatile Nigerian who excelled in all his endeavours, the governor stated that “the late Gbadebowale Aboderin, a professional pilot, was zealous in carrying on the legacy bequeathed by his late father and Founder of the Punch Newspapers, Chief Moyosore Aboderin, when he took over as chairman of the company.
“His commitment to the development of basketball in Nigeria, which saw him founding the Dolphins Female Basketball Foundation and emerging chairman of the Lagos State Basketball Association as well as Vice President of Nigeria Basketball Supporters Club, is worthy of emulation,” he added.
The governor prayer God to grant the family of the late Aboderin the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
