Dr Alex Otti has been sworn-in as the new governor of Abia State.
Otti took his oath of office at midday during the inauguration held at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
He was sworn in by the Abia Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Lilian Abai, with Otti ‘s deputy, Ikechukwu Valentine Emetu, who also took his oath of office.
Peter Obi was represented by the vice presidential candidate, Senator Yusuf Baba Ahmed.
