The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, has sensationally adjudged himself a failure, following his inability to resolve several challenges in the education sector despite being the longest serving Minister of Education.
The minister listed his source of failure ranging from out-of-school children, which has increased during his time in office, to the rift with ASUU and other challenges bedeviling the tertiary education system, regretting that he could not provide the needed solution.
Adamu, while speaking at the 66th National Council on Education (NCE) in Abuja, on Thursday, also accused the states ministries of education of contributing to his abysmal performance in office as minister.
