Hot-shot Uzoma Okereke of Amannagwu Village was the cynosure of all eyes on Tuesday, as her two first-half goals were all her team needed in the ongoing Ibom Waterfall female football competition to send Ugbo Village back to the drawing board.
Uzoma grabbed the first of her two goals in the 13th second, making it the fastest goal in the competition.
She was on hand again in the 15th minute to finish off a beautiful move by her team mates. The two goals make her the competition’s top scorer.
In their second match of the tournament, Atani Village and Obinkita Village played out a barren draw.
