The Naira, on Thursday, recovered against the American dollar at the official window of the foreign exchange (FX) market.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data showed that the Naira closed at N1,441.44/$1, as against the N1,443.08/$1 it traded on Wednesday.
This represents a gain of N1.64 for the local currency against the American greenback.
The Naira gained N3 against the dollar to trade at N1,457/$1, as against the previous day’s rate of N1,460/$1.
The local currency, however, lost N25 against the British Pound to trade at N1,940/£1 as against the previous day’s rate of N1,915/£1.
The Naira closed flat against the Canadian dollar to trade at N1,100/CA$1.
It also closed flat against the Euro to trade at ₦1,675/€1.
