The Naira, on Thursday, appreciated against the American dollar at the official window of the foreign exchange (FX) market.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data showed that the Naira closed at N1,466.65/$1, as against N1,470.62/$1 it traded on Wednesday.
This represents an appreciation of N3.97 for the local currency against the American greenback.
The Naira closed flat against the dollar to trade at N1,500/$1, the same as the previous day’s rate of N1,500/$1.
The Naira gained N15 against the British Pound to trade at N2,020/£1, as against the previous day’s rate of N2,035/£1.
The local currency closed flat against the Canadian dollar to trade at N1,200/CA$1.
The Naira gained N5 against the Euro to trade at N1,750/€1 as against the previous day’s rate of N1,755/€1.
