JUST IN: Senate unseals Natasha’s office, grants her access into NASS premises

The Sergeant at Arms of the National Assembly, along with combined personnel of security organisations, have unsealed the suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, signaling a possible end to the rift between her and Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Political analysts conjecture that, with the development, suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan now has access to her office and the National Assembly premises.

With her office now unsealed, Akpoti-Uduaghan can access the National Assembly premises, potentially paving the way for her to resume her legislative duties.

Reports said that the move to open the senator’s office prior to resumption is to pave the way for her to be in the hallowed chamber upon resumption on October 7, 2025.

According to a source, the decision was arrived at during Monday’s leadership meeting of the Senate.

It was reportedly agreed that at resumption, the Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Abba Moro (PDP Benue South), will move a motion for her to apologise, then seconded, and it will be taken.
