Buhari receives Liberian President George Weah in Aso Villa

President Muhammadu Buhari has received the recently inaugurated President of Liberia, Mr. George Weah, in his office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Weah ran on the platform of Coalition for Democratic Change.

He won the first round of election with 38.4 per cent forcing a run-off.

In the second round of the election, Weah was elected President of Liberia with more than 60 per cent of the votes.
