The CEO of the State-owned airline, Mr. Mfon Udom on Friday, announced the delivery of ten (10) brand new Airbus A220-300 ordered from the 2021 Dubai Airshow, to further boost its airline operations.
“This visit is long overdue, there’s a need to brief you officially that we have just taken delivery of brand new aircraft, ten of them – Airbus A220-300 – from the manufacturer. This will further ease airline operations and position Ibom Air for expansion across diverse African destinations,” the Governor briefed.

In his response, the minister commended the efforts of the Akwa Ibom State Government for its commitment and determination to provide world-class airline services to the nation.
