Blackface accuses Olamide, Asake of plagiarizing his songs

Nigerian singer, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo aka Blackface, has accused Olamide, the YBNL boss and his signee – Asake – of stealing his songs.

Speaking in the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, the former Plantashun Boiz member claimed that Olamide borrowed elements from several of his songs during his career, specifically citing the similarity between his song “Killa” and Olamide’s “Don’t Stop.”

Additionally, Blackface accused Wizkid and Burna Boy of taking inspiration from his song “Twist & Turn” for their collabo hit “Ginger.” He emphasized that not only were his lyrics taken, but the sounds he created were also replicated by other artistes.

Blackface, however, said he does not mind writing songs for Nigerian artistes, including Davido, if approached appropriately.

He also expressed his desire to collaborate with Tiwa Savage, though he stated that he has been unsuccessful in getting a response from her over the years.
