Tobi Amusan returned a time of 12.48 seconds to place first in Heat 5 of the women’s 100 metres hurdles at the World Athletics Championship in Budapest on Tuesday.
She, therefore, qualified for the semi-finals of the race. Her time of 12.48 seconds is the third fastest in all the five Heats.
The fastest time was returned by America’s Kendra Harrison in Heat 3. She returned at 12.24 seconds. Harrison was followed by Bahama’s Devynne Charlton who returned after 12.44 seconds.
