The Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK), has extended his condolences to Senator MAO Ohuabunwa over the death of his wife, Nimi Faith Ohuabunwa.
The former Governor of Abia State, in a condolence message, said: “It’s with a heavy heart that I received the news of your wife’s demise. The loss of a woman, who was a significant part of your life, being the mother of your children, is particularly a deep pain to handle.
“As you mourn the death of your dear wife, on behalf of Abia North Senatorial District, I send you my heartfelt sympathy over this irreparable loss.”
OUK and MAO are age-long political rivals.
Both contested the Abia North Senatorial seat during the February 25, 2023 election. While the former ran on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the latter flew the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
