South African police nab 5 Nigerian drug dealers in Pretoria

The Police in South Africa have arrested five Nigerian men in Pretoria for being in possession of drugs.

All five were arrested on Tuesday by operatives of Tshwane Metro Police Drug (TMPD) unit in Garsfontein.

The unit, through a statement, announced that the illicit substances have an estimated street value of nearly five hundred thousand Rand.

Upon getting a tip off that a white Suzuki vehicle that was delivering drugs at Atterbury road, the shwane Metro police swung into action.

A team of officers then discreetly traced the transporter to his residence at a complex.

In the apartment, the police found four suspects packaging heroin (nyaope) and crystal meth.

The drugs found has an estimated street value of close to half a million Rand.

“They were all arrested for dealing and possession of drugs. Well done team,” the statement noted.
