The Police in Lagos have recovered the body of Ayanwole Oluwabamise, the 22-year-old fashion designer who went missing after boarding a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) at Chevron, Lekki area on February 26.
Detectives reportedly recovered the body after they were alerted by residents of Lagos-Island axis that a corpse was abandoned in the area.
The body was said to have been recovered by the policemen attached to Ebute Ero Police Station and has been deposited at the mortuary within the axis.
Meanwhile, some youths have vowed to embark on a protest on Tuesday, to demand justice for the slain lady.
In a flier shared on Twitter, the youths vowed to storm the Secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja and all BRT terminals in Lagos State.
They also demanded justice for the 22-year-old lady and prosecution of all the suspects involved in the death of the fashion designer.
They wondered what form of transport is safe if a citizen can be kidnapped in a government-owned transport.
The protesters, who plan to converge on the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, Lagos by 7am, called on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos Bus Services Limited to ensure that justice is served in the matter.
