2023: Tinubu returns to Nigeria after consultations in UK

The National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu returned to Nigeria on Sunday after “consultations” in the United Kingdom (UK).

His media aide, Tunde Rahman, confirmed the touch-down of his flight at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

Rahman, while sharing a photo of his arrival on his page, said: “Asiwaju Tinubu on his return this evening from a trip abroad…”

The former governor of Lagos State had in January declared interest to contest the 2023 presidential election after a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

He later jetted out to the UK for consultations, in furtherance of his ambition.
