* Donates school building to Anglican Church
Security consultant and top politician, Sir Chikwe Udensi, has extended his humanitarian outreach to his Arochukwu hometown, giving the elderly and the less privileged cause to celebrate the Christmas and New Year in grand style.
His charity outreach of December 30, 2021, in partnership with Rotary International, Rotary Club of Abuja Down Town District 9125 under the leadership of Rotarian Mrs. Ebere Udensi, and the Rotary Club of Arochukwu, consisted of cash gifts, consumables and medical care.
At the Arochukwu Civic Center in Oror, venue of the ceremony, pensioners and widows were treated to a happy moment, as Udensi doled out cash gifts and consumables to those present. They also had medical attention such as eyes blood pressure checks by the healthcare personnel.
A cross-section of the beneficiaries
Udensi’s concern was particularly for the pensioners, who are being owed their stipends by the Abia State government.
The beneficiaries were exceedingly grateful to Udensi, and they prayed for him and his family.
In another development, Sir Udensi built and handed over a block of multi-classroom primary and secondary school to Anglican Church of Nigeria in Arochukwu.
The gesture is part of his contributions to the development of education in the State.
The Church expressed gratitude to Udensi for his humanitarian gesture and prayed for God’s continuous grace on him.
