The National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Saturday, visited the Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, at his Aso-Villa, Abuja home.
Tinubu arrived at Kalu’s residence about 4:25pm; both men hugged each another, exchanged pleasantries and then proceeded into the inner lounge for a meeting.
Before they retired into the inner lounge, Kalu expressed gratitude to God for Tinubu’s good health.
Tinubu returned to Nigeria on October 8 after spending about three months in London, where he had knee surgery.
Although the agenda of their meeting was not made known, it is however being speculated that it might not be unconnected with national politics.
Tinubu’s visit comes amidst talks that both men are being positioned by their backers for the 2023 presidency.
They are both former governors; Tinubu for Lagos and Kalu for Abia.
While Tinubu once served in the Senate, Kalu is the current senator representing Abia North.
