The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is in possession of the results of the Anambra State governorship election from 19 of the 21 local government areas.
The remaining two, according to the Commission, are being awaited, and will likely reach the Commission later on Monday.
The Commissioner in charge of Information and Voter Education Committee, Mr. Festus Okoye, disclosed this in Awka on Sunday.
Though Okoye did not mention the local government areas of the remaining two, he said the announcement of the local government results would commence at 11 am.
There are strong indications that candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof Chukwuma Soludo, is ahead of others in the election, which was conducted on Saturday and continued on Sunday.
