Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has again alleged that a serving member of the National Assembly is financing the activities of a secessionist group in the country.
Malami specifically said on Friday that a Federal lawmaker is the major financier of Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho, a promoter of the Yoruba nation agitation.
President Muhammadu Buhari had on October 1, during a nationwide broadcast to mark the country’s 61st Independence anniversary also claimed that a lawmaker in the National Assembly is a major financier of secessionist groups that threaten the unity of the country in the past months.
However, both leaders failed to reveal the identity of the Federal lawmaker.
