Nigeria on Saturday recorded six hundred and sixty-one (661) new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the situation in a tweet on Saturday night.
The data released indicated that Lagos had 230 cases while Rivers followed with 127.
With this development, Nigeria now has a total of 19,808 confirmed cases of the infection and 506 deaths.
NCDC tweeted, “661 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria:
