…Hails governor over palliatives shared to Abians
The Special Adviser to Abia State governor on Projects Monitoring, Barr Jude Nwaokoro, has prayed for the quick recovery of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
The governor had last week tested positive for COVID-19, following which he promptly isolated himself, to receive treatment.
So far, he is said to be in high spirit, assuring Abians that he is looking forward to returning to his duty post.
Besides prayer, Nwaokoro also commended the governor “for his magnanimity to the people of Abia State.”
He specifically thanked the governor for distributing palliatives to people of Arochukwu Local Government Area from which his (Nwaokoro’s) Ward 1 members benefited.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the governor. And we believe that soon, the result of his COVID-19 test will come out negative,” Nwaokoro said.
