- Five dead, 27 treated and discharged
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 10 new cases of coronavirus.
Six cases were confirmed in Lagos, two cases confirmed in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and two in Edo State.
Two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo state with 27 patients so far discharged.
As at 11:15 am on April 5, there were 224 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria.
Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths
