Ibom girls defeated their Amangwu opponents by one nil in the ongoing Ibom Waterfall Cup female football competition.
In a match played on Friday at the field of the Abia State College of Education Technical, Arochukwu before a capacity crowd, Abigail James Tom grabbed the winning goal in the 89th minute, one minute before regulation, to send her coaches and team mates into celebration.
The match was a ding-dong affair until Abigail found the back of Amangwu’s net before the blast of the final whistle.
