* Tinubu absent, mocked by Dino Melaye

The presidential candidates of political parties for the 2023 general election signed the Peace Pact on Thursday in Abuja.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), among others, were physically present for the signing of the peace pact.

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was absent.

However, Tinubu’s running mate Kashim Shettima, was present at the signing.

Meanwhile, spokesman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Dino Melaye, on Thursday, made a mockery of the APC over the absence of its flag bearer at the forum.

Reacting to Tinubu’s absence, Dino Melaye, in a video shared on his Twitter page, made a mockery of the former governor of Lagos State.

Melaye said Tinubu is the only presidential candidate who was absent at the peace accord signing, claiming to know the reason.

According to him, there is no provision for thumb printing as all the candidates were allowed to sign.
