The National Secretary of Labour Party (LP), Mr. Umar Farouk, has explained factor that can stop Peter Obi from becoming the country’s president next year.
Farouk made this known while featuring on Channels TV programme Politics today.
The party secretary opined that with what he has seen so far, Obi is on course to win in next year’s general election in the country
He added that this is the time for Nigerians to decide whether they are tired of the old order or not, saying that their vote will determine that.
“That is the docility of Nigerians not to select good leaders. If Nigerians feel that they want to continue with the old order, that they don’t want a good leader, a leader that is going to salvage the situation that is up to them,” he said.
The Independent Nigeria Electoral commission (INEC) has fixed February 25, 2023 for the presidential and National Assembly elections, while the governorship and State Assembly polls will hold on March 12.
