The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment, Barr. Tunji Bello, has urged Nigerians – regardless of tribe or religion – to vote Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as president in 2023.
Bello spoke at a prayer session organised by the Mainland Independent Group for Tinubu, saying ‘Asiwaju’s heroic antecedence shows, beyond every doubt, that he is the only candidate whose presidency will succeed in transforming Nigeria to a super power nation that will be reckoned with in the global comity of world nations’.
The prayers held at the secretariat of the Yaba Local Council Development Authority.
Chief co-coordinator of the Mainland Independent Group (MIG), Alhaji Ibrahim AlaoMegida, who represented Bello, hailed his principal for the huge financial resources he committed to making the event possible, especially in keeping with his increasingly sustained loyalty to Tinubu and the progressive cause he stands for.
“I am glad that Asiwaju has thrown his hat into the ring. I, therefore, use this medium to assure the p that our group, the MIG, has unanimously agreed to participate fully in the Asiwaju presidential project by accompanying him on intensive campaign to every nook and cranny of the nation, for vigorous mobilisation of progressive Nigerians so that we shall all rejoice at the end.
“Already, our patron, Bello, has promised to commit considerable resources to the initiative,” he said.
AlaoMegida added: “I am glad that Asiwaju has thrown his hat into the ring. Chairman of the group Kayode Aransiola described Tinubu as a visionary and dynamic leader who transformed Lagos through his administrative dexterity. He added that
Tinubu possesses all the sterling attributes to replicate same feat, even on a more grandiose scale, when he attains the saddle of presidency next year.
